After a ship collided with a cyclist bridge in the Netherlands, its former users had to make a detour across a considerably higher pedestrian bridge for several years. Since it would have been extremely difficult for the affected cyclists to use the stair access to this bridge, Stageco installed two temporary ramps of approximately 150 m in length and some 5 m in width. Using versatile Allround Scaffolding, it was possible not only to adapt the two ramps to the precise dimensions, the required gradient and the sloping ground, but also to the positioning of the more than 8-m-deep ground anchors close to the bank. Safety during use was another vital consideration: Allround extension parts such as guardrails with child protection are available as standard. A system-oriented solution.
Allround platform stairtowers ensure fast, sure-footed access through the scaffolding.
