How to do it: with beam solutions from Layher
Construction of an architecturally ambitious house called for weather protection that was both economical and effective. A combination of Keder Roof XL and beam solutions from Layher enabled the scaffolding constructors at the site to come up with a precisely fitting and also material-saving answer. It was based on detailed advance planning in 3D using LayPLAN CAD.
- The Keder Roof XL ensured both rapid assembly, thanks to its lightweight aluminium components and its connection technology using snap-on claws, and also a more pleasing appearance of the site inside the residential area
- For the wide-span roof structure in a region known for high wind loads, the scaffolding constructors used a central support made up of several linked-up scaffolding sections. The Allround FW System put in a convincing performance here, not just with its high load-bearing capacity, minimising the number of supports on the ground, but also with hustle-free pre-assembly, section by section, at the depot, prior to being put together at the site and then set down onto the ground supports using a crane
- Allround Scaffolding was used to provide support scaffolding and also towers for the central support – in combination with the high-strength Aluminium TwixBeam
- Detailed advance planning in 3D on the basis of LayPLAN CAD, plus close consultation with the client and architect using the digital twin of the scaffolding
Advance planning in 3D using LayPLAN CAD permitted precise adaptation to local circumstances plus close consultation with the client and architect.

The central support, made up of several Allround FW System sections, was pre-assembled section by section at the depot and then lifted by crane onto the Allround towers at the site, which use TwixBeam as support.
